Robinhood, an investment app platform, is preparing to issue new Visa cards. They have 3% cash back on ALL purchases. You don't have to pay with Apple pay to get the higher rate. There are other earn options too, like 5% cash back on all travel made through their service.

You have to be a Gold member with Robinhood to quality, which costs $5/month.

Apple Card benefits look distinctly 3rd rate.

3% is obviously better, if you don’t mind paying $60 a year for that. If you’re already a Robinhood Gold member this is a no brainer. The Apple Card is in my rotation for all Apple Pay purchases. It would be nice if Apple had more promos, but I will take no annual fee over those if I have to.
