Hello all,

I am going to be investing in a new iPad as my Ipad 2 has now died.

I take it out and about with me in my bag and sometimes to construction sites etc and am looking for a robust case to keep it safe. I know that "safe" is a relative concept and I am not expecting it to be indestructable just something to keep it from being broken if dropped or my bag gets knocked etc. Rain / water resistant to some degree would be great too.

I was looking at the STM Dux Case as a starting point.

Can anyone with any experience of robust cases give some suggestions?

(anything with a keyboard would be a bonus but isn't needed)

Many thanks

The Dux case looks pretty nice. I might look into this one.

I had an eBay bucks balance, so I've decided to give the STM Dux case a try.

I've been looking for a case that provides drop protection for my Air 2 and this one seems to fit the bill nicely. When it arrives, I'll post up some pics.

i got the rugged folio for my ipad air 2 and I love it. You can use it as a laptop or disconnect the ipad due to magnets. its a great awesome case.

Have the STM Dux for mine which have been using for a while but just got the otterbox defender which provides full around protection including the screen
