Rock App MyWi stopped working after updates

The tethering app MyWi worked great for me so I paid the 9.99 to get it and whenI did so it gave me an update notice. I updated it and now it doesn't work. I reads on my Iphone that it is connected and also on my Mac it reads that I am connect to my hot spot but it will not connect. It also now longer has the " internet tethering" use the usage at the top. Anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

That sucks man that you paid for it when you could have gotten it for free . There is a thread flying around that to get tethering, you install rockapp, install mywi, run mywi, reboot phone, go into settings to see if the tethering option is still there, then SSH into your phone and manually delete rockapp and mywi and restart phone. When you restart phone the option to tether is still there but both apps are gone

Yeah but thats only through USB correct. Because I like MyWi because it enableS me to have a mobile hotspot with its wifi connect method. And to me that is priceless as I can broadcast via my iPhone and numerous people on business can connect. With USB you get only one connection. To each his own, but being able to have it as a wifi hotspot broadcasting is priceless, I cant be bothered with my USB cable all day

Didn't know that but really 10buck is nothing if the app works. I just don't know how to get it to work now. So far I have not been able to find in info on why it does not work now or how to fix it.

Before the update you couldn't connect via USB right? Can I do anything different to get the USB to work. I don't care about having to be connected via usb as long as it will work!
