Is RocketU 1144E Mavericks ready?

I'm wondering the same thing. I need one card solution for both USB 3.0 and eSATA, and have only found the RocketU 1144E and the CalDigit FASTA-6GU3.

CalDigit told me the RocketU 1144E is Mavericks ready and port multiplier aware on the 1st eSATA port. What about Mavericks and port multiplier awareness of the RocketU 1144E? And are there any other cards that someone could recommend?

Dual USB 3.0, Dual 6G eSATA, 4 lanes. All sounds great. Anyone heard anything about it?
Reckon it'll have sleep issues like the other RocketUs?
Is it going to have throughput issues like the CalDigit FASTA?

I am intrigued.

What sleep issues are you referring to? Mine (1144CM) works very well.
No, it won't have throughput issues. Each port has it's own controller that isn't trotted back by anything.

Also, what model MP are you working with.

My colleague is also using a RocketU 1144CM USB 3 on his 2009 Mac Pro, SL 10.6.8 and according to him works perfect like a charm. Though I already have the Caldigit FASTA USB 3 , my next purchase will be the RocketU 1144CM USB 3. By habit I don't put my Mac Pro on sleep mode, just a straight shut down. :)

It still sleeps most of the system. Drives spin down, monitor sleeps, etc... You won't get the pulsing power light presumably because it doesn't sleep the processor. Everything else seems to go down as expected. No issues during wake either. Nothing ejected/remounted etc...

Go to the HighPoint sight and make sure you order the model that is advertised as compatible with your Machine version and OS version. I've got no complaints since it's used as a storage device hub and nothing else.
