Rogue - the old text based game. I can't find it!

Hey! Ya'll remember the old popular game rogue? I don't, cuz I was born after it was released. But I was doing some research and I found out about it. It seems really fun, since I'm a fan of text based games like Dwarf Fortress, and I couldn't find it! It's like the game never existed! Where can I find it??

I just google it and the first result leads to abandonia.com where you can download it. Of course it is for ms-dos but you can run it using dosbox (freeware).

I always liked Angband; it's a Rogue-like game but with a Tolkien theme. Very well done, and a lot of fun.
