Rolled back from iOS 18 Beta - Restore from backup on PC is taking forever

Hello, I've gone through all the steps to roll back and I'm on the final stage of restoring from the PC backup I made yesterday and it has been doing it for an hour, and it's just sitting there about half way saying "Time Remaining: About an hour".

I'm not sure if it's stuck or just taking that long, but just curious what I should do if I don't see any progress soon?

Progress bars and Time Remaining displays are for the most part meaningless on iPhone stuff — they’re usually grossly wrong.

Just let it do it’s thing.

Thank you, so it really could take more than 2 hours? I just remember doing this once years ago and it took like 30 minutes.

It easily “could” take 2 hours or more, certainly. If it’s not throwing any error messages, my advice is the same as @now i see it - let it run. Erasing/starting over will just prolong the process.
