on apple's website, they show it with a rose gold clasp. But when I go to where you add it to your cart, it's silver.
What am I missing ? I was excited to finally see a matching clasp on a non expensive band !

I think, like other bands in the past, that to get the matching clasp you need to buy it that way with the watch.

In the same boat as you. Very bummed, not sure I will keep it if its a silver clasp.
Seriously. If I'm wearing it for looks, I want it to match. I mainly got this for fitness and it's really not working well for that for me. But I figured it's still fun anyways. it just seems like with the lack of app updates, price drop...I'm starting to wonder if they are not planning on adding much to it in the future. I've gone back and forth on selling the watch all together. Idk.

I guess they made more standard silver color sport bands and THINK the population doesn't mind the bands not matching.
They obviously HAVE the rose gold option...just don't want those that bought that watch to have that option...

It really angers me that they don't offer gold or rose gold sport band options.
Thinking about selling my watch now.

At least they could sell the ones that are included with the watch separately. They are already making it. I get not having every color option with a rose gold clasp. But at least 1 or 2 !

Maybe they'll pop up on eBay soon, I'd like to have one myself…
I sent my feedback to apple about this. Attention to detail is lacking. Also it's as though new customers are rewarded more since you can purchase the right color clasp with a new watch. It just isn't right. We'll see if I get a response.

I get the feeling the stand alone watch straps are paired with what Apple's sales data says is the most popular watch color/finish. Probably so the SKU's don't explode even more. But I do think for bands that have clasps you should be able to pick the finish.

I have been bothered by this since I got the Rose Gold Sport when it first came out. I totally agree with the poster, who said that they should at least sell the ones they already make. Why not? (...and don't give me any BS about SKUs, Apple can handle a few more).

That's why Apple added the ability to pair multiple watches to one phone at once. They expect customers to buy every new custom styled watch they want as they come out, not just the bands -- just like the Hermes edition bands can't be purchased separately. And that's why they dropped the price $50!

No, not really. But it is one solution to the problem. ;-)

I went with SS because its more or less universal and wide appeal for this very reason. I have been tempted down the road to get a second watch with a different colored case. Not that I need another watch but just because...well you know...although don't think my spouse does LOL. Already getting some grief with there's only 7 days a week and how many bands can one possibly need even if you change bands once a day. I just shake my head.

Anyway, I can understand Apple, who has given us way more OEM choice of bands and watches than any other company, limiting how many bands with different metals for adapters/buckles they want to sell. I don't know whether this would make sense to them to do, but a way to customize an order would be nice even if you had to wait longer to get shipped. They use to build computers to order more or less, and found that was a mistake so probably would view this as such too. Problem is when you give people choice they just want more. Kind of hard to run a business like that. Still would be nice though from the customer perspective!

I have sent in that feedback as well, you should be able to match the hardware on separate band purchases! Everyone please do the same!

[doublepost=1459106899][/doublepost]Interesting find, on the Target website, they sell the bands separately pictured with the gold and rose clasps. Is it possible, or a big mistake on Target?

I need the band with the rose gold clasp, I got this apple watch as a gift today alongside my new iPhone and I'm angry I'm not going to be able to add my personal touch to it because they haven't added the rose gold clasp to the bands! D: If anyone knows where I can get on please let me know! Thanks

I have been frustrated by this since I got the rose gold sport when it first came out. I'm still hoping that Apple will sell them eventually.

BTW, great name! My eight-year-old daughter's middle name is Siobhan.
