Just wondering if anyone might know of a tweak out there that allows you to lock your phone (go to the lockscreen) by rotating (flipping) your phone along the long axis?

I had Sensorlock when I was using my old HTC Touch Pro and it simply allowed me to flip my phone in my hand clockwise and the phone would lock. A counter-clockwise flip would unlock the phone.

I realize there is an Activator action to shake your device and that I can specify to lock/unlock it, but shaking my iPhone isn't what I'm looking for. I want to just flip it in my hand.

If there isn't, please let me know so I can stop looking.

I do not know of such a tweak. Ill keep my eyes open but I don't recall ever seeing such a tweak.

Yeah, I figured. Just thought I'd ask before I engaged in any marathon Google searches to come up empty.

It's strange, because this was a popular addon for a six year old phone running Windows Mobile. Something I know the iPhone is capable of, but I guess no one's thought to do.

Oh well. Thanks!

Nope
And I can see a broken iPhone in your future lol
LOL! Yeah, totally possible. The HTC Touch Pro is somewhat smaller than the iPhone 3GS so doing this was quite a bit easier than with my 5, which is of course larger than the 3GS.

On the other hand, my plastic and chrome TP saw a drop from chest height on to the screen and slid for about four feet as well as about three or four other drops on to concrete, rock and tile and it's still going. At least with that phone HTC built it tough. I can't think about doing that with my i5!

Lol, no worries, believe it is much faster to touch the power button for sleep than twirling the phone.

Well, it's kind of the opposite for me, which is why I was asking, but not really a big deal. However, you don't know if you don't ask.

Did you take a look at Face Off ?
Honestly I'd forgotten about that one. I'll take another look. Not exactly what I had in mind but a half-way solution is better than none.

Thanks!

EDIT: Welllll…that turned out to be a mistake.

Springboard keeps crashing. So, managed to get it to boot in safe mode and uninstall it. Ran iCleaner. It's still crashing, but I'm able to use it.

Don't know what tweaks it may have interferred with. Right now I can still use the phone (somewhat), so I'm hoping things will improve. But if it keeps crashing consistently I'm going to have to dig deeper.

EDIT2: Hmmm. It seems that if I access an app or something right after I enter my code it's fine after I exit the app. But if I just let it sit there after unlocking, Springboard crashes. This sucks, but at least I haven't lost my jailbreak.

EDIT3: Ok. I uninstalled another tweak I installed a bit earlier today and everything seems to be back to normal except for the fact that my BiteSMS Quick Compose is not populated with my favorites any more in the NC. I don't really use that so I can deal I guess. Maybe iCleaner again. Don't think I'm going to try this tweak again though.
