Other Rough around the edges (XS Max)

Hi all,
Curious how common this is... I have two phones and for one of them, where the screen connects to the stainless steel, there is a small gap with a "rough" feel to it and seems to catch your skin and collect dust. My other XS Max is completely smooth around all edges of the screen with little to no gaps. Does anyone else notice this? Or is this just a potential manufacturing defect on mine?

Not sure I should take it to an Apple Store to replace it . This is obviously not normal .
