Before anyone gets angry about what I'm asking, let me explain: My family can NEVER remember our router admin/password, we've set and reset and all sorts of things hundreds of times, but each time we set it we always forget it. I thought finally we had a workable password that was memorable enough that I wouldn't forget in the large gaps between times that I needed access. Unfortunately, it seems that my father has mistyped the password, or reset it in the intervening time for some reason. I called him, and he doesn't remember. Ironically, I'm trying to login to see if I can change the WEP encoding to WPA2, in order to increase security.
Anywho, if anyone knows how to get the admin/pass off a router on OSX (actually, just the Pass. I have the Admin), such tips would be greatly appreciated. If you all are a bit leery, and don't quite trust me or think I'm lying, and want to prevent me from carrying out some nefarious scheme that I might be lying about, I understand. No harm done if you choose not to answer.
Thanks in advance!
