Hello guys, I have recently bought the roxio easy vhs to dvd for Mac, expecially for my dual core 2.3 PowerMac G5 which amazon (and the roxio web site) says that the capture card is compatible with the g5 but in reality the software is intel only compatible...it works well with my imac 27" but I'd like to try this device with my PowerMac.
Can someone share the old software installer that works with PowerPC?

Thanks;)

Thanks for your reply. I've tried the version 1.0.1 up to 1.0.5 but without success. The application opens but it doesn't recognize the device, so I think the drivers aren't include with the update that you posted previously. Let's see if someone else has this hardware.

Yes, the device is the mac version, in fact, as mentioned before, it works well on el capitan but not on leopard (PPC) with the downloaded software, I don't know why. I'll try to ask about it on roxio forum

@GoopnyPants I recommend that you return that device then if you cannot find drivers. I will do a search and report back on my findings. That being said, the newer software may be a universal binary that you can force install using Pacifist. Just a thought...

I personally have a Diamond VC500 Mac edition USB capture device that I use for this task. I believe it set me back about $30 a year ago, but it sure beats the cheaper models found all over eBay with awful drivers and programs. I have not had a problem with it at all.
