image.jpeg So I managed to pick up a Royal Blue nylon band in the Leeds Trinity Apple Store in the UK earlier.

First thoughts are it feels very light and smooth. Much lighter than the sport band and can hardly feel I am wearing the watch.

Downsides are its very narrow at the lugs where it connects to the watch. I had to double check I had the 42mm as I first mistook it for 38mm. Interesting that the blue comes through more when in outdoor lighting than I door.

Overall, I'm not sure it's worth the money (as with any watch band!) but will use it for a few days before making a decision.

Looks pretty nice.

Did they have them on display or did you have to ask an employee to get it, and by any chance do you know if they had the other colours too?

Have ordered one online but may pop in to my local store tomorrow and see if I can buy it then.

How does it feel when it's on the wrist?

Had to ask for them as not on the shelves although apparently they did have one of the black ones as a display model.

One of the most comfortable bands I've used so that's making me think twice about returning. I think it'll be great to wear in summer.

Thanks for that.

I'll probably give them a ring in the morning and see - fingers crossed!

Remember, this is to make it look like those navy nylon loops band. Just imagine those loops going under the watch.

So, it is meant to look like that. No taper. Basically a rope that goes around your wrist and under your watch.

Here's mine. It's the same width as the Sport Band but I can understand why they chose not to taper it towards the case. You either like it or you don't. On the wrist I think it looks fine, and feels comfortable too.

Maybe more pronounced with the 42mm case.

I get that, especially as I've been hoping for a NATO style strap for a while. However it looks kind of strange to me in the pictures. It really makes the watch look bulkier. I'm sure the material is really nice, but from the pictures alone I tend to like the look of the knockoff nylon straps that use the metal lugs. I suppose I'll have to check it out in person.

aftermarket nato looks 100x better IMHO.

Yeah, just going from pictures alone I have to agree. Again, not in the actual material, but the mechanics of how it's attached to the watch. Still want to check them out in person though.

Remind me...with Nylon, can you wash them with soap if it gets dirty??

I thought you could go diving in the ocean with those...

I'm not really sure about the Apple one. I think it's always the drying part that takes longer than the Sport and metal bands.
[doublepost=1458860597][/doublepost]Just found out from an expert the band is water repellent treated and it's not nylon all the way through, with a rubber core. I don't think getting it wet would be a problem.
