Well I was gonna get the new iMac, which did not come out..... Now, I'm looking at either getting a refurb iMac 2.8GHZ, or a new MacBook Pro. Which of these two has better gaming performance? Also if a new iMac/Mac Mini is on the way, how much longer do you think it would be? April like last year?

Also if I buy a refurb iMac in a week or so, would that come with iLife 09?

Keep saving your money, and wait for a new iMac to released. Maybe you could buy an even better one then! :D

That's what I'm doing. Maybe you could turn your PC into a hackintosh (based on the system in your sig) for the time being.

I'm glad I bought my new imac a couple of months ago...I don't want to wait forever for it...and I was going back and forth if I should get it or wait...I'm glad I got it because I get to use it now!

Too much money....I just had another question pop up too, does Apple return refurbs?

Or any other good ideas for $1900 or so?

yes, apple returns refurbs, and in my case, for $20au (for shipping, no restocking fee) within 14 days or 7 days? i dont remember.

The system in your sig will have better game performance than either of the Mac options you're considering.
