In windows bootcamp on my 2019 Mac Pro 7,1 the MPX RP 580X doesn't seem to want to play nicely with the Radeon VI. By that, I mean, when I install the drivers fort he Radeon VI, the 580X gets a ! with a code 31. When I re-load the 580X drivers, I get a code 31 on the radeon VII. Can you really not use both of these at the same time in Windows? It seems to work OK in MacOS.

The description is:
"This device is not working properly because Windows Cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31).

The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter"

Any workarounds?

Edit: If I plug a monitor into the Radeon VII, it doesn't give a Windows error, but I can't get it to load anything other than the MS basic display adapter driver.

I got two different GPUs like that to work in Boot Camp, by installing the special Boot Camp drivers, you can Google it and you should find it

Special Bootcamp drivers? What should I Google? I’m getting hundreds of hits, none of which seems relevant. I’d appreciate any pointers.

There are Radeon VII drivers on the AMD website that work just fine. It’s just that there aren’t drivers that work well together for both the 580X and the Radeon VII at the same time in windows.

Does anyone any AMD Radeon VII 16B work with a Mac Pro 5,1 running Mojave? Or does it need to be flashed? Thanks and be well.

Are these basically just the same Adrenalin drivers you can download directly from AMD, or have they been modified in some way? I will be in the same situation shortly, having a 580x MPX module along with a Radeon Vega Frontier and would love to use Boot Camp to use Windows for gaming. I currently use my 5,1 via Open Core, but can install the Adrenaline drivers direct from AMD and it works amazingly well.

I am also running into this now. I have a 580x MPX and a Vega Frontier (stock) installed in an additional PCI slot. After installing Boot Camp, it only sees the 580x MPX, but completely ignores my Vega Frontier to where the display doesn't even come on. Are you saying that these drivers from bootcampdrivers.com should fix it?

I don't know if it's of any help, but the AMD Radeon Pro 20.10.36.01 drivers work with the Vega II (Duo) and the 580X.

Awesome, do they also work with the 5700 MPX module - I actually just ordered that

So I have no Boot Camp GPU drivers - only AMD Adrenaline with the 6900 XT, and the 5700 MPX module is dormant when in Windows. I just went to update the AMD Adrenaline driver but it says no AMD device installed. WTH. Is this due to the MPX Module causing confusion? I'm about to just remove all MPX GPUs and sell them completely, it's driving me nuts.
