RSA SecurID and 10.5 VPN

I have an RSA SecurID that I would like to use to log into my network at work with my mac. On my PC I use the Nortel Contivity Client, which is free and works like a breeze. I have been able to get the Contivity Client working on my Mac through Parallels and I also tried the Apani Branded Nortel Contivity Client that runs natively on the Mac. Both of these solutions worked perfectly. The only problem is the Apani Client is $90, which is hard to stomach when the Windows version is free.

Is there a way to configure a VPN connection with the 10.5 Network Systems Preferences Panel that will utilize an RSA SecurID Hard Token Code and that also requires a PIN? I have the server number, group ID, and group password, User ID, PIN and Hard Token Code, but only some of those fields seem to exist in the 10.5 Preference Pane under VPN.

If it isn't possible, could you recommend an application less than $90 (preferably free) that would also work? Thanks in advance.

I struggled with this as well for quite some time and never found a solution.

The issue is that Nortel charges for non-Windows clients, so that's why your Windows client is free.

Why not just keep using Parallels?

Using Parallels allows me to view the web-based stuff, but I would like to be able to use Entourage on my mac (and Mail when Snow Leopard has the built in compatibility) to connect to the Exchange Server.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who has tried this, maybe if there are enough of us someone may come up with a solution

In the end, our company switched to Cisco VPN, so that saved me. Unfortunately, that doesn't help you at all.

I haven't used it for testing against Nortel in quite some time, but I've used it against Cisco with good results.

That was one of the ones I didn't try last night in my 3 hour effort. I will try that one tonight when I get home. Thanks for the recommendation. I post back on my findings.
