Hey

pls help me on this question

I tried to ask around about the heat and RSS problems on macbook

but no one got a clear answer about these

If anyone know how did apple fix the heat and RSS problems .. pls tell me

I am wondering whether the apple just rev the fan speed up or they did fixed somethings (i.e. changed logic board, new vent, new fan or new heat sink).

I have a delimma on buying MB or MBP .

If MB still have problems , then i will buy MBP (This will cost me lotz T_T)

Thx in advance

I believe Apple released Firmware that corrected the RSS issue (No idea how) but the heat issue was fixed when the firmware set the fans at a constant higher speed. They're still silent, but they spin fast enough so that it stays cooler.

silently is exaggerating it a bit... my new blackbook that I purchased last wednesday does emit a fan sound, but it is much less obtrusive than my last Dell notebook.

The heat problem was fixed with the firmware update, and they added more ointment that reduces the heat
