Rumor: iPhone 4 launch in Austria, Suisse, Italia, Belgium etc. 28. July

Thanks, I was waiting for some release dates. So much waiting..My country is still not on the list, but I will travel to one of these, hopefully, and get my iPhone.
 
How do the phones come in Australia? Do they come factory unlocked like canada or no???? Anyone know?
 
The source for this is the website of the austrian Newspaper "Oesterreich", which doesn't really stand for quality.

Their informations are also that the white iPhone is "sold out", and they're listing _German_ contract prices, which are basically twice as high as the ones on the Austrian mobile market.

So, don't really put too much trust into these infos.

If the date turns out to be correct, it will have been sheer luck

edit: they even posted a story on the recall that "steve jobs" announced via twitter :/
 
well, first of all, Steve Jobs announced a release in the aforementioned countries in the 2nd half of July.

So why are you disappointed? ... the 28th is almost as late as you can get in July ;)

yep, you're absolutely right
according to "oesterreich" an apple employee from berlin (germany) told them the release date
it doesn't make sense imho :rolleyes:
 
singapore non-contract purchase

I will be in Singapore Aug 1-5, what are the chances I can p/u a 32g iphone4 when I am there? I want to pay full price for a non-contract phone.

If there are pre-sale signups available, would someone living in Singapore be able to sign up for me so I can get the phone by the 5th? Does it require a credit card deposit or what to get in line? Thanks.
