"Apple recently applied fro a patent that is etiher Big Brother Scary or Unbelievavly cool. The patent is for a display that sandwiches image-capturing sensors between imag-displaying cells, creating an LCD screen that's also a camera. It could be awesome for Videoconferencing, and were' pretty sure all those wild webcam teens will like it as well." -Maximum PC Magazine June 2006

Woah! I don't know...it seems a little creepy to me! Even this tiny isight camera looking at me I find a bit odd. It would probably be of much higher quality on the good side though

If it means a loss in screen resolution I'd rather not. Besides, I can't even begin to tell how many issues that might cause. I for one don't like it (and such a screen would probably be expensive). No thanks, I'd prefer an isight camera in the top of my computer anyday.

funny you say that when you have a 15'' MBP...

That iSight above your screen also caused a loss of resolution... 60 pixels to be exact...

No, the dude you quoted was wrong, predicting it would lead to a lesser screen resolution and cause issues. The MBP has a 1440x900 instead of 1440x960 as the PB 15" had, because it is .2" bigger (15.4" vs. 15.2"). Tis might sound wierd, but it is because the MBP screen is a wider format.
