We all know if you where gamer or need business apps you getting windows and if you are into video editing, multimedia and graphics you getting a Mac .We all know that video editing, multimedia and graphics was big market share of profits to apple.

We now know that apple is trying to get into business apps with iWorks and other businesses apps now .

But there is rumors that apple may discontinue the Macbook pro and Mac pro like the Macbook. If this is true alot people working in hollwood and people into video editing, multimedia and graphics will move to windows base platform.

Put it simple if you into video editing, multimedia and graphics you not getting Macbook air or iPad.

And if you serious into video editing ( not a Amature speding 3 or 4 hours a day ) you getting Mac pro and paying $6,000 a 12 core CPU Core Intel Xeon CPU , 16 RAM , 2 TB hard-drive !!!

That is light years away of top of the line of any PC one can get.

For people into multimedia or graphics you getting a Macbook pro or iMac.

Why would Apple kill its best selling profits to hollwood and people into video editing, multimedia and graphics will they will have no choise but have to move to windows base .

Just to bow down to college and university kids taking there iPad ,iPhone and MacBook Air to school !!

There you go rumors that Apple may discontinue the Macbook pro and Mac pro http://news.cnet.com/8301-27076_3-5...-most-products-in-2012-report-says/?tag=mncol

If Apple replaced the MacBook Pro with a more powerful laptop at the same price points, all your objections would simply vanish... Dumping the MacBook Pro means nothing without knowing the rest of the product line strategy....and you do not.

MacBook pro is very unlikly to leave IMO, it gets to many sales. And I Think the iMac is what alot are starting to prefer for video editing.
