My main Imac machine is now with Apple for repair and I was told this morning to my surprise that this repair could take a good 2 weeks. I am trying to see now if I can use my Macbook pro as my main machine.
I have 2 CCC backups for the iMac: One on my Synology NAS which is completely up to date as it runs regularly, and one on a dedicated hard disk, which is unfortunately a few months old.
As I cannot restore the image to my Macbook (not enough disk space), I wanted to see if it was possible to boot and run from my Synology image. Is this possible?
