Could be quite useful, but I don't see Apple allowing it in the store. If its possible to 'jailbreak' then it could be useful, but I can't see companies doing that.

And you can also "run" Windows 7 on an iPhone/iPod. You can also "run" Windows 7 on an iPad/iPhone/iPod without Citrix using a RDP client and the included Remote Desktop functionality in Windows. Citrix is funny. I do give them credit though, their client for the iPhone/iPod is actually really good. Better than the RDP client I have used on the iPhone.

Its not semantics if you don't have a citrix server on the other end. Its... nothing.

the odds of me buying an iPad are so low, it's a moot point as to HOW or IF Win 7 appears in ANY form, on the iPad. At this point, I'm not even vaguely interested in what has been shown so far. I won't rehash all the negatives that have been so thoroughly mentioned in the past few days.

I'll say this...

I can't wait to run VNC / Back to my Mac on this when I need things on the go. Even better if I could simply mount directories from my imac on on my iPad.

Fantastic news from Citrix there. I asked if their receiver for iPhone would work on iPad recently.

This is going to be awesome, as my company is going down the XenApp route. It would be fabulous to be able to connect to my desktop using the iPad.

Windows 7 is an operating system that facilitates easy multitasking. It would make the iPad explode.

Too bad it wouldn't make the sales "explode" more so than an iPod with just an iPhone OS on it. And note to Apple Fanbois, tell me again how come Windows OS has been available for Apple computers for a few years now?? Didn't that sea change piss you all off??
