This is my first, AW10 without cellular. I also take my iPhone 15 on the run. I use the Runkeeper app on the Apple Watch and start Spotify via the Apple Watch where the AW is effectively a remote for the iPhone Spotify app. Both devices are paired to an Aftershokz aeropex headset. Bluetooth Multipoint is switched to "on" on the headset.
With only Runkeeper on and Spotify off, the Runkeeper audio cues are working on my Aftershokz aeropex. When playing Spotify, I hear no audio cues from Runkeeper. I contacted Aftershokz and they confirmed it should work. I contacted Runkeeper, but I'm still waiting for their reply. Normal behaviour should be that the Spotify music is dimmed or muted and the running app gives a short cue (about your current speed for instance)
My question:
Should it work with my hardware or is this a bug in either iOS 18.0 or watchOS 11.0? Or a Runkeeper bug? I already reinstalled Runkeeper and resetted the headphone to factory defaults.
Any suggestions for testing the hardware with another combination of apps (??? and Spotify)?
