Is the new air 2.0 powerful enough to run an external projector
On my macbook when I run keynote the external projector displays the slide and the lap top displays the next slide and the previous slide and notes.
i noticed on the specs for the new air that it supports "mirroring and extended desktop" where the macbook pro supports "Mirroring and dual monitors"
what is the difference? Also I run a lot of quicktime movies in my keynote presentations. do you think the new mac air will be powerful enough in these
types of settings? I would really like to leave the heavier mbp home if i could?

There isn't a difference between those two. The Air is plenty powerful to drive a projector for keynote. That is not very graphics intensive and just about anything can do that.
