Running at 80F?! No way!

Hay can I borrow your macbook.. i wanna fry some eggs! Jesus thats hot..
Edit: Ah my bad for skimming.. i have so many windows open and one time...
(thought it was 80C..) (And i thought he was shocked at how hot it was hence the reading mistake.. )

Most MacBooks usually run 100+. Before this little bug mine was running from 120-170 (170 when importing/editing in Lightroom/Aperture)

What's so hot about it ? Are you shocked in a good or bad way ?
My average tempreture is 50 c = 122 F However using that same app with fans at 4000 RPM it goes down to 35 c - 95 F and I can still barely hear the fan at that speed...

Hmm. My reading gets stuck ALL the time. How long has it been at 80ºF? Has it varied at all? Did it go up after the fans where turned down to normal?
Mine stays at the reading it boots up at. Although the fans still work when it gets hotter, they still rev-up.

My MacBook mostly operates aroud 50ºC according to CoreDuoTemp. Lately, I've been watching the fan activity in relation to the temperature. I'd say that the MacBook will allow temperatures of anything upto around 65/75ºC before the fan is activated. Then the fan will spin until it cools the MacBook to around 50ºC. I think this is pretty neat =)

Shocked in a good way.
@SC68Cal, the fan speed hasn't been modified and it's still running at 80F. There are two screenshots, one with the fans on high for a few minutes, then another with them just at their normal speed 10+ minutes.
This doesn't seem very normal...
Currently, I idle around 135* F while I surf the web and type stuff. Fans kick in around 180* F and keep it to around 165-175* F if I'm doing heavy processor tasks.
I've never had a problem with the laptop getting too hot, because whenever I do processor intensive tasks, I sit at my desk (gaming, photo editing, etc...) and I need lots of flat surface.

I just turned on MacBook (it's been off for 6+hours) and it's saying I'm running at 66/72F and it feels hot. I might take this in or something as it doesn't seem normal for the sensors to be saying strange temperatures and I don't want it overheating.
I've had my Macbook as low as 19C after being in some cold areas, and I have had it hit 70C while folding (and the fans sound like a jet taking off )

the hottest temperature on my 15" PB G4 1,67 was 69°C (~156.2°F) when it was on my blanket of my bed. And my CPU ran at 100% continuesly.
the g4 runs cooler than the intel chips? and that with less fan power? i don't want to imagine putting this hot MBP on my lap when i'm doing some image editing...
