ok i have a 1.42 mac mini had it for like 8 months. lately it has been action up tho. like i will put it to sleep and like 5 secs later it will wake itself back up. or it wont be asleep nothing open and the hd will start running fast for a min then go back to normal. what could be doing this? i am completly lost. and cant think of anything that would be making it do this.

What version of OS X are you running? Do you have a bluetooth mouse? Are you running any services (ie, FTP, HTTP)? Can you tell us any of the things you've changed in this area of time?

Yeah, my mouse sometimes keeps my Macs up. Also, keep Activity Monitor open and see if there's a process doing stuff™ when the hard drive starts speeding up. :)
