Hello, I used to run Windows as a virtual machine under Mac OS on MBP. Now I want to do it the other way around. That is, run Mac OS on Windows PC.

As of today, what is the best way to do it?

Is it better to use Samsung NVMe M.2 SSD over SATA III SSD? Will I see noticeable improvement in performance?

How is running Mac OS using this method vs. making a Hackintosh?

Technically, this is not allowed per EULA for macOS.

That said, it can be done using VMWorkstation or VBox and requires an "unlocked" to allow the OS to be installed. Results will vary as hardware compatibility for anything that is not native to Apple hardware is hit or miss.

There are a few hackintosh forums where you will find more info.

I did this in the past and found audio and video were not very good, and some iCloud services don't work well without some hacking.

Thanks for sharing. Do you find having NVMe SSD rather than SATA III SSD helps in improving the performance?
