Running MacBook with Lid Closed?

My MacBook arrived today(working perfect so far) but I have one small question: Can you run this machine with the lid closed? I don't want it to go into sleep mode if I'm shutting down the computer to move from a room to another, and I thought I read it was possible, but I can't find it anywhere in system preferences. Help? Suggestions?

Sleepless is a app. that works for both PowerPC's and Intel chipsets. Apple has this page on the product. It's shareware, and for $10 bucks, it's worth it if you plan to use it often.

Make sure you dont put it in a case for long once you`ve enabled the ClamShell mode. Also the MB might get really hot IMO(though I havent tried it yet.) Just keep a check on it for the first few days. Dont leave it on without making sure it`s not too hot at any given time.
