Hi,
I was having problems with macbook pro mid 2012 (battery running out after a few minutes, showing 100%, trackpad not working well, not clicking, needed to restart computer twice each time it slept, etc)
So, opened it and found the battery had swollen.
(It was a no name brand)
I've removed it, and now using it with power cable
Was wondering if, apart from it running slow (because of clock speed I hear), is it ok to run it like this?
It will be about a month before I can get another battery for it (I'm in a part of the world hard to come by macbook batteries)
Any ideas if it's ok to run like this??
Also, I've read it's not possible to increase clock speed, but on the chance someone has an idea to speed it up??
Thanks
