Running VPC in Parallels?

Hey, my C2D Macbook (2GB RAM) will soon arrive, and I will need to run Windows on it (mostly for .NET programming).
But I will also need to run Virtual PC in WIndows on Parallels (running a certain OS), but will that work in Parallels?

For example, I would have Parallels running Windows Server 2003, and I want to run Virtual PC (with another OS) on Windows Server 2003 in Parallels.
Will this be too "heavy" for Parallels?

Another option would be using Bootcamp, but I only have Windows Server 2003 (legally)…
Yes, I've read that some people run WS2k3 on Bootcamp with a bit of modifying files etc. but you also need a slipstreamed CD and since I don't have a PC, I won't be able to make one!

Why not run your "other OS" in another Parallels VM? Does it have to be in VPC? It should work though - I've run VMWare's VMPlayer in a Parallels VM (just to see if it would work) and it was nearly as good as VMPlayer on my work PC.

As for Boot Camp, you can slipstream an updated WS2K3 installl disk in a Windows install on Parallels and transfer the iso to OS X, where you can burn it. That's how I created an SP2 XP install disk from a pre-SP1 XP install disk.

Well, the thing is, I will need to be able to open the Virtual PC image in Virtual PC on a Windows PC.
Or can Virtual PC open Parallels images?

I'll try it when my MB arrives! Maybe the speed will be alright (won't need to do it a lot, just for a few smaller things).

Chances are that it won't work, most VM products assume that they're able to run in ring 0 on the hardware which isn't true if you run it inside of another VM. For instance it's currently impossible to run VMWare inside of a Xen system even on the dom0 kernel. And I believe that VMWare refuses to install inside of a VMWare guest because they know it doesn't work.
