i want to ask if i run a windows on imac. is it good to use autocad and 3dmax? i hate windows, but my fd need to use autocad and 3dmax. world u guys like to get me some suggestion?

If you or your "fd" wants to run AutoCAD or 3D Studio Max, it is best to use Windows via Boot Camp.

Also have a look at MRoogle, as the question on how to use CAD or 3D Studio Max with a Mac comes up every now and then.

I've been using max on my mac under bootcamp and it runs great. Same goes for Maya under bootcamp as well as OSX (though max isn't available on osx yet, so bootcamp is your only choice) I assume since autocad is less demanding than max that you'll be fine with it as well
