Is it OK to run/jog/bunnyhop with the iPhone? I assume it won't affect the ipod but will heavy physical activity affect the motion sensors?

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I've decided to stick with the nano and the nike+ setup.
I don't take a phone with me anyway.
My biggest concern with taking the iphone with me is messing it up with sweat, water, rain, accidental drops, whatever.
I've been running with my iPhone a few times and almost every time i do, the headphone button stops working...I click and nothing happens. I'm thinking sweat is getting into the button and shorting it out or something cause if I wait awhile it works again (i.e. dries up).
Without that button, skipping to the next song on an iPhone is quite the P.I.T.A. while running. Anyone else have this issue?
i've had it a step worse. The button didn't only fail, it repeatedly was triggered, pause and skipping tracks. Mine was also fine after drying, but I no longer use the included headset while working out. I use my old iPod headset with my iPhone.
As a note, the older iPod headsets have a sleave over the plug that can be slid back to allow it to fit into the iPhone.
great, thank you all for your responses. I used to run with my shuffle but I traded it in at the apple store for a video ipod and of course i would never run with that one!
or someone beating you up and taking your iphoney.
you need to have a cluster of ninjas around you for protection with that thing.
i hired two bodyguards to fend of any iphone attacks!
