A couple of months I bought a USB hub. Apparently it is extremely rare (hinted at by the Japanese/Chinese language on the box art) and I have no idea about the model/brand of it. Anyhow, turns out the USB cable, which is one of those "cool looking" transparent ones, is rusty. It was rusty when I bought it.
The actual connectors have rust on them. It creeps me out. I'm so gonna get a new cable ASAP.
It freaks me out that we live in a world where rare USB hubs made by unspecified Japanese or Chinese companies could ship with a SUB-PAR USB CABLE!!!
