Has anyone gotten this to work? I've tried both with a Sapphire Pulse RX560 and a RX580. I get nothing! The fans spin up, so it must get power. But the screen is black. Actually the screen behaves just like the computer isn't even turned on. The original 2600 XT card works just fine, so there's nothing wrong with the PCIe slot.Older thread I know but it came up in related section at bottom of a thread. @OP you can now use the RX 580 in 10.14.5 via a patch from netkas.
The CPU does not have the features required to use the RX series cards, and the CPU cannot be upgraded to one which supports the RX cards.Has anyone gotten this to work? Any suggestions would be welcome.
That's what the patch is for, isn't it? At least that's what netkas claims. The CPU does not have the features required to use the RX series cards, and the CPU cannot be upgraded to one which supports the RX cards.
