Hi,

on my cMP 5,1 i have installed a Radeon RX 580. But sadly the graphic cards starts producing artefacts on the screen. So it starts dying. So i got the opportunity for a (relatively) cheap RX 6700 XT.

But until now i wasn't able to get any image out of the graphic card. If i build in both cards, the RX 580 + RX 6700 XT i get an image through the RX 580. In the system report under PCI the RX 6700 isn't even listed.

I've installed macOS 12.1 with install instructions for OpenCore from the WikiPost from this forum.

Is there any chance to get my RX 6700 XT working? Thank you for help!

No one with a Xeon processor earlier than Ivy Bridge (late-2013 Mac Pro) ever got a graphics card based on a NAVI2x GPU working, not even via eGPU or using a hackintosh.

The real issue is not know yet, could be PCIe v3.0 Atomics/Read-Modify-Write Transactions or missing AVX support (most probable).

Graphics card based on Polaris/VEGA/NAVI1x GPUs work fine with MacPro5,1.
