Resolved S/PDIF: External Soundcard

Hi everyone

I'm looking for some help with regards to a low cost external soundcard using the S/PDIF of my 2012 Mac Pro as the interface and actually, if it even matters using S/PDIF vs USB 2.0 for my needs.

I'm mainly gonna use the external soundcard for the Apple in-ear headphones+mic for team comm when playing multiplayer games.

Yes, the idea is to run both input and output between mac and external sound card
