Not talking about the presentation performance.

Any one notice how hard did they push all the S-stuff? And how they are keeping their touchwiz look which is pretty much iterative since 2010?

Seems to me google should really think about getting Motorola pumped up and produce a moto nexus that smashes the galaxy in user experience AND hardware too.

I noticed one thing, my friend who has the s3 was watching it and was pretty stoked with it for some reason. He even mentioned "google's phones are crap, Samsung is going to kill apple and google with this".

Yes it is hilarious, but the thing to notice is how normal street folk view galaxy phones, not really google devices but s-devices.

Is the end really nigh?

May be google giving nexus to lg this time was a wake up call?

Yes, it's unbelieveable how dated Touchwiz looks. The icons are still garish and utterly cheap looking, and the menus are hardly pretty either. I can't help but think that Samsung's success would be so much greater if they only hired a few really good designers. (That goes for the exterior of the phones as well - they need someone to smack the board members hard on the head to make them remove the logo from the ****ING FRONT of the device.)

Seriously, those icons remind me of my old Symbian Nokia phones
Whole OS needs a fresh UI upgrade
