I've been researching the Galaxy s4 a ton due to my interest in switching from my iphone4s to the s4. Which leads me to this:

A quick google search brought up a number of other reports citing the same problems. There are videos on youtube that shows this as well:

This worries me.....I'm rethinking my decision to switch to the S4. I know its probably just a small %age, but it still worries me. Has anyone here encountered this problem?

Never heard of it before. I'd guess it was an isolated issue, every device has them, especially early on in the life cycle.

I wouldn't let it concern you.

i'm a tech enthusiast, spending at least 2-3hrs/day reading about smartphones and other things, i haven't read or heard anything about this , which means that this didn't happen with many people, i'd say that you should go for the s4.

every phone has their isolated incidents. The iPhone 5 had people with bent phones. Even if you estimate on the high side 100 people reporting cracked screens on XDA, that's still only .000005% of their S4s sold.
