It's ok. But reality check - the difference between 4.7 to 5" to 5.7" is marginal compared to watching on a 42" screen. Likewise the difference between 42", 45", 50" is marginal compared to watching on the cinema.

Movie watching on a mobile is ok, but just like desktop browsing on the internet - any mobile device doesn't offer the same experience has using a desktop or laptop / or movie wise a large TV.

So yes, it does the job nicely for a 5.7" mobile and it's does it marginally better than 5-5.2" ... But movies are still more comfortable to watch on the big screen.

The immersion because of AMOLED and the curved screen are very nice. But apart from that I think that the 5.7-inch screen is definitely too small for videos. Always use my iPad for that sort of stuff.

IMO, it's almost equivalent to a big screen experience cause you are watching with the screen about 1-2 feet away from you're eyes. But I can't get immersed into a movie on a phone unless I'm wearing earphones or using my car audio. AMOLED does make you forget you are watching on a phone, as long as you are not using the phone's speaker.
