Just ordered my 45mm S7 in green. It’s coming with clover sports band which looks fine but I wondered what other owners of the green option have found works as a combination. Older bands, the latest line up or third-party bands are all open for consideration!

My thoughts:

The sequoia green leather link looks great if a little pricey…maybe the Abyss Blue/Moss Green sport loop too.

Has anyone tried the Abyss blue or midnight sport bands with the green watch? Looks ok online but curious to see real world results. Thanks!

I'm getting the exact same one. I imagine there will be some really cool-looking combos for this one and I am also interesting. I won't be spending a fortune on bands, but I do plan to get the green leather link. Matches the case perfectly and the leather is so supple. Would also be interested to see what it looks like with a red band - something Christmassy. Orange could be really interesting as well, especially for someone who is a University of Miami fan. And something in a lighter color, either an off-white or khaki or very light gray. Just not sure. Great question.

And after going through Apple site and testing out bands virtually, I do think the best options at the moment are the clover loop, green leather link, dark cherry/forest green sport loop and abyss blue/moss green sport loop. will be interesting to see what comes out in the future that might work better, or if anyone finds an older or third party band that works well.

Thanks for your thoughts so far.

Having explored a little further - the Tornado/Grey sport loop looks like it might go well. The grey (or is it tornado?) part of the band looks almost the same green when you match them on Apple’s website.

In terms of older bands, it appears that ‘Inverness Green’ could be a good match but I have no idea where I would find one…!

If anyone has the green watch and/or any of those bands and could shed light I’d be grateful! (I live nowhere near an Apple store so I can’t go in and experiment with the new ones!) :(

Nice call on khaki - I believe Apple has done a khaki sport loop before so may be one to look out for if you can find one!

That inverness color does look perfect. I see them on Amazon but nothing in the 45mm size of course.

I ended up just reusing my space black link bracelet. The green is very dark and subtle , I love it. From far away it blends but from different angles you can see the green tint.

The green on the watch is so dark and subtle that almost any band will look fine with it. I'm fond of the braided solo loops, and I switch between inverness green (got lucky and ordered it the day before it disappeared), pistachio, dark cherry, and abyss blue. I think maize would also look good. My watch came with the clover solo loop and I have a dark cherry solo loop. I also use the abyss/moss sports loop, and sometimes a brown modern loop. The last looks OK but I wish the buckle and connectors were black.

Thanks for the responses! Yeah now I have it in hand I’m pleased at how subtle the green is - it allows for quite a few of my existing bands to be used.

Besides the clover sport, I went for the abyss/moss sport loop which I’m really pleased with, and I’ve found my that both my black and white sport band look decent with it.

I’m curious on those khaki and olive colours in real life against the green watch - if anyone wouldn’t mind posting a photo that would be useful as I’ve seen some of those going cheaper in various places!

I also got the green AW 7 plus clover Sport Band and love it! I got the tornado grey sport loop yesterday and own a dark cherry solo loop which I originally bought for my recently sold graphite series 6 which also looks cool. i hope you can get some inspiration from this! 😊✌🏻

I found this video on YouTube which was quite helpful to see a variety of bands with the green S7. Doesn’t include all mentioned so far but gave me some nice additional ideas and has most of the latest styles included :)

Hope it helps!

Awesome video. Since it basically looks black, most everything works well. A few stood out, though. Loved the Inverness braided one.

For some reason I didn’t realize my 42mm Series 2 straps would fit my 45mm Series 7. Dusted them off and will try them out. I have an orange strap, a blue fabric one, the Milanese stainless, and a platinum Nike strap. All Apple bands. Here’s the platinum:
