There's always new things to see. There's going to be a lot of demo.

It's like winning 10 mil. And 2mil was given to you Friday night. Tomorrow you get the rest 8mil. Would you mind?

As irrelevant as this event could possibly be for me, I still think Apple will have something in store for us. Even though we know a lot what apple would deliver on this anniversary phone, we still yet to have much idea how iOS will work with the new device in action. Not to mention their plots, stories and so on.

Hence, I am with the author of this article. (https://sixcolors.com/post/2017/09/what-we-dont-know-about-the-sept-12-apple-event/ )

I'm personally sad about the leaks...it's like someone came over to your house and opened all the christmas presents on Dec. 24th. Hopefully they have something no one knows about to announce tomorrow, but I won't hold my breath...le sigh

That's the downside with a company as large as Apple is. Insiders get their hands on parts, schematics, and/or divulge software. The only way to really avoid all the leaks, is still avoid the Internet/media altogether. And I'm sure Apple is not content about all this information exposed either.

I dunno, it seems inevitable that these leaks occur every year. Apple has so many moving parts in their development and production structure, and the info is in incredibly high demand. The only way to really avoid it is to cut yourself off from the internet about 3 weeks out from the event-which would be even less fun than getting an early scoop.

Also, there’s always something that didn’t get picked up, so it’s still not all known. I’m actually more curious about the 8 and 8 plus right now.

No, it's like you went under the tree and unwrapped all your presents on the 24th, and then regretted it. I know quite well from my non-techy friends that no one knows jack about the new iPhone unless they deliberately visit tech sites/blogs.

if you want no leaks it's not best to visit this forum until after the event

some people can't walk and chew gum at the same time.
[doublepost=1505174649][/doublepost]You know how you see large billboards; " this picture was taken with iPhone"? I want to see large Porn hub billboards; " this video was taken with iPhone X"!

I want to see laser ingrained porn hub logos on iPhones.

Apple Pay accepted by porn performers while using iPhone. Give it 3 years, it will happen. Trust me, 3 years is a blink of an eye now days, it will happen.

I'm not sad about the leak. I'm sad about my wallet :D

Anyway, I don't watch those really. It's a trade show not GOT. Business guys pushing their wares.

The leaks are just rumors to me.

They're rumors every year starting almost immediately after the phone is released. A lot of times they're wrong, so I take them with a grain of salt. I wait until the release.

Your own fault. So don't read a rumors site, these complaints get brought up every single iPhone release.

What have leaks spoiled for you exactly??

What, you didn't know that iPhone 8/X was coming? Or new Apple TV? Or new Apple Watch? iOS 11 is nothing new. More storage? A given. Notch ears? Even my dog has heard of them. Other iOS 11 features? Duh! Face ID? Old news. New gestures? Eyeroll. No Touch ID? Cry me a river. More expensive? Duh again! Black front? You don't say! Blush gold? Vomit gold. 4K? Schmikay! Apple Watch LTE? Was bound to happen. X Edition? Cute. iPod Touch? Who cares.

Wasn’t anything leaked that wasn’t already out there prior. Now had they leaked all prices and exact preorder information I can see people not even bothering to watch tomorrow... but they didn’t. So the demos alone are worth the watch. I’m interested in watching even though I see no reason to buy any of the new products this year. Minor upgrades in my opinion.. next year is the one to buy.

To me, there are so many unanswered questions that have not been addressed or leaked regarding the new upcoming products. I would still watch the keynote even if I thought I knew everything there is to know. Plus, the Demo's are interesting to see, as it gives me an idea if I'm interested in the purchase or not.

I can say I am sad because the leaks currently make it seem like the Samsung, and especially the new Xiaomi phone appears to be much better than the iPhone that is yet to be released. Its one thing for leaks to be exciting, it's another when they are underwhelming when compared to a competitor's product and you think to yourself, "is this product actually going to better in all aspects compared to what's out in the market now?"

I agree. I generally avoid leaks and speculative YT videos but for all the info to come out so close to the announcement is a bit of a kicker.
