Saddle Brown Apple Leather Case with leather conditioner

I just bought a saddle brown Apple leather case for my space grey 6s. Looks so nice. I'm thinking of applying mink oil on it to condition and protect it. Did any of you apply any leather conditioner of any kind? I want a patina for sure but know leather conditioner will add to that and keep most leathers very healthy. Just curious how well mink oil or other leather care products work on the Apple leather cases. Thanks!

I've used "leather afterlife" with all my leather cases. I think it helps with water protection, I've never had any problems. It might darken it quicker in my experience.

Yes, using a glass screen protector somehow makes it that that is what breaks, not the phone screen. I have tested this several times;-).
