Saddle Brown Classic Buckle w/ Space Black Watch

Anyone have pictures of their saddle brown classic buckle on a space black watch? I have reservations about shelling out $150 for the band and having it look tacky due to the mismatching lugs/hardware.

I currently have the brown Nomad modern leather strap with the PVC black hardware, but it's very bulky and would prefer a thinner leather strap. I searched the forum for pics, but all the results were of the classic buckle with the SS watch.

Personally, I think that looks terrible with non-matching lugs. Not only would it bug me every time I look at it, but it just looks hacked together. I'd like to see if someone had black aftermarket lugs too. Last set of lugs I got buying an aftermarket strap (OEM style lugs), one didn't even fit into my watch and the other was fairly wobbly so the experience so far isn't great

I'm going to a little DIY and change the adapter on my Sea Blue leather strap with a Space Black adapter from Amazon. I'll post pics and instructions to help the community. I've ordered the screwdriver, gel glue, and adapters.
