Saddle Brown Leather Loop - how does it look now?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting a Saddle Brown Leather Loop but just wondered how these look now for people that have had them a couple of months? Do they go dark Brown like the phone cases do? Or get marks and that kind of thing on them?

Thanks, don't want to get one and worry about that all the time when I'm wearing it.

To contrast. I hope it gets a patina. But I’ve notified apple uses different types of leather for Saddle brown depending on the product.

I love the iPhone cases but the iPad smart covers never developed the same patina.

If the Leather loop does, I may pick one up!

I suspect that most of the darkening comes from oils in your hands. The iPhone case is more likely to get constantly handled than either the iPad cover or watch band.

Nope.It is a completely different grain or leather

I went for it anyway as I do love my Black Leather Loop.

The Saddle Brown is a little darker than I had expected and I can see that if it does patina it will look quite nice. I was concerned that it was quite a light colour and it would pick up stains

Interesting. I think i'd dig this look. I owned the "Light Brown" LL in the past and it was too orange/bright to me

I've had mine for a month....and really don't remember if it was lighter. I do use Apple Leather conditioner on it a couple times.... I'll get a a pic soon.

I'm curious now, to get some of that and give it a try.

I've used on on other leather things (like the iPhone leather case) and my wife has use it on her pocketbook. It removed ink from a pen nicely.

I also use Apple Guarde stain protection
