Hi this is my first post here so first things first, hi!

Basically my problem is this; my google search thing has suddenly started going to some language i am unsure of, it says .com so you'd think it was google screwing up but this happens on the wifi at uni as well as at home plus no other browsers on this computer or any other computer at home is doing it. Ideally I'd like it to point to the UK google but back to the generic google will do any ideas? I have the tinkertool thing but I can't find anything with that to change the search.

Also while we are at it, what would be the best way to import favorites from Opera on windoze to safari?

AcidSearch (or switch to Firefox and make your own search engines ;)).

Which Safari? If you got 2.x (ie. using Tiger) you can just export the Opera bookmarks as html and import them in Safari using File -> Import Bookmarks. If you're still using Safari 1.x (ie. using Panther) you can still do this but you need to enable the debug menu to get the Import Bookmarks option. :)

thanks I used the acid thing, I was going to try that but I thought I read somewhere on that site it only worked with panther, I guess not and am just confusing things...

When you say html file do you mean a html file with a list of links as thats what you can create with opera, and have done currently. If I click on import bookmarks nothing appears to happen, is that because it's a background thing looking in other browser folders?
