Maybe my problems are i don't know of how the new Safari works. However i can not add frequently visited web pages to the start page. currently Safari has decreed i only have 4 and 2 of them i have hardly visited, is there some bizarre algorithm going on here?. Please let me control my frequently visited web pages!!! as i have not been able to add the web pages i know i frequently visit. Am i asking the impossible? Also in music i was unable to drag a song into my connected iPhone 7. 3 try's same results. So i am certified, there i said it.

I havn’t updated Safari yet, but can you bookmark the websites?
Is there not a preferences tab.

Thank you and works great. All my bookmarks are in folders so i moved a folder from bookmarks into the start page. Which gave me more webpages than i wanted, so i went about deleting them. now i will try to drag a song onto my iPhone.

Web site preferences didn't work well in previous versions, and are worse in 14.0. Page zoom settings for most sites don't stick at all through restarts. MacOS is just so horribly bug ridden these days, in the most basic tasks.

Safari>Preferences>Websites. You can select which sites can show popups. They should be blocked on other websites.

Aint that the truth ! They were borderline before covid and worse since. Owning an early version of an Apple Silicon mac would probably drive me round the bend. If they ever release an Apple Car, I'd expect it to drive it's passengers straight into the bend...
