Have you tried configuring profiles first? My extensions wouldn't work until I've created an additional profile

Yes, I've created a new Profile, removed it, recreated and deactivated/activated the extensions to no avail.

Both extensions are developed by the same developer: maybe he/she has something to fix.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Meanwhile if you want to downgrade you can reinstall the full installer for the version of macOS you are on, then install any Safari point release via downloads (so, not using System Update)

I just did the same to get back to Safari 16.
