Hello all,
I have recently started having problems with safari 2.0.1. It seems to be causing interuption to other programs, primarily itunes 5. When i am playing songs normally and i use safari, the tracks start to glitch or stop and start. It is particularly prevalent when ussing RSS in multiple tabs. Its almost as if the powerbook can't take the pressure of running these programs all at once. I thought Tiger used RAM dynamically to prevent this exact type of problem.

1) has anyone else had this problem?

2) is there anyway to stop it?

NB: even clicking on links can cause a glitch in a track

Ps. I did a search before posting this so please don't bite my head off if a similar thread exists.

Have you tried removing articles? I used to have the "Remove Articles" option set to never in Safari preferences -> RSS, and after a while Safari started to be kind of slow, so I used the "remove now" button and set Safari to delete articles after a month, and now it seem a bit faster...

Also, whenever something slows up I have to ask: How much RAM have you got, how much free HD space have you got and are you running lots of widgets...?
