I have 2 Macs, both with the same ML and up to the latest updates. On one Software Update showed and let me update Safari 6.1, on the other Mac Sostware Update doesn't even show it. Besides Safari is not a separate download at Apple's site.

Repaired volume structure and permissions to no avail.

Any solution?

Same here. Only get the regular announcement that there is 10.8.5 (which I do not want), but never any mention of Safari 6.1.
Even not when opening SoftwareUpdate.
Strange.

On my computer, safari 6.1 update was not available until mountain lion was updated from 10.8.4 to 10.8.5. OP, maybe restart your trouble computer and try the app store again.

jorgk: There's nothing really impressive about Safari 6.1. The only difference I see is that both favorites and Top sites appear when you open safari. I find this to be pointless.
