Hello Guys,

Just installed Mountain Lion a few hours back, everything is working perfectly, but I noticed Safari 6 is not saving my tabs automatically? Did they remove this feature? or is it just my computer..

I can still restore all windows from last session from the menubar, but on Lion it did that automatically..

you can click the + tab on the right side at the end of your bookmarks bar.

You can go to History and click "Reopen All Windows From Last Session." I don't remember seeing that feature before and I usually keep 15+ tabs open :S I'm using the extension SafariRestore which sucks though. Gotta find a better one tab thing soon

Edit: Use sessions, its really awesome :) just found it hahah, it makes auto backups of your tabs and will open them on start

If you go to System Preferences -> General and unclick the "Close windows when quitting and application"

It will save your tabs... but will also save documents for all programs.

I don't even have that option in my preferences (general tab)...there is just no alternative for me to check. It seems like the only way to try to do it is via terminal...?

On the Safari extension site, install SafariRestore. It will give ya the functionality.

On both my Mac Mini and my Air (both running Mountain Lion), the tabs are reset every once in a while. It's really strange. I never turn off my computers, only put them in sleep mode. But every once in a while my tabs will have been reset, and it really sucks. I can even be on my iPhone, click the new "iCloud tabs" icon, and then see my Air, for instance, be all blank. Then I'll know this bug has appeared again.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this glitch?
