I still have OS Lion at the moment and I checked my software updates and there was one, now it looks like I have Safari 6 without ML.. That normal?

I've downloaded Safari 6 for Lion as well (on a 10.7 computer that isn't eligible for 10.8). Am I correct in assuming that iCloud tab syncing won't be enabled for me on Safari on my Mac? The iCloud tabs button isn't showing up.

You should get an offline reading list too, and a general enhancement in snappiness.

The features you won't get are the new Tab gestures and iCloud tab sync.

Safari 6 was released for Lion the same day Mountain Lion was released. ;)

Thank you!

And NO backspace to move back pages, NO activity monitor, NO visual indication of tabs loading and NO empty cache command under the Safari menu.

Safari 6 is HARDLY an upgrade to 5.1.7, in my view...and it's NOT a ML feature, it can also be downloaded for Lion (I did and then rolled back to 5.1.7 for the reasons above).
